I have used some one else's credit card to do online shopping before. Nothing much to worry because it was my father's credit card that i used.. It was really for the fun of it actually... My parents and i wanted to know how online shopping went on and wanted to explore it for ourselves. The result was logging onto ebay which i usually browsed through just to see the items available. Now it was really for a purpose! My mum wanted to get a handbag. My dad wanted a new it gadget. I just wanted a harry potter book. My want seemed more appropriate than that of my parents. They seemed to think along the same lines when a decision was made to purchase a harry potter book. We had lots of fun trying to browse through the various products to obtain our desired item. It was a glorious moment when i typed in my father's credit card number in his place. It almost felt like i was inserting the numbers of my own credit card. The transaction finally took place and i found myself with an installment of the harry potter series two days later. True enough, online shopping did make one feel happy and triumphant! I think that online shopping is nothing but merely another way to shop for our wants and needs. However supervision should always be accompanied especially during the use of some one else's credit card. Also, necessary security measures should be taken to ensure that we do not lose our hard earned money just because of a moment's folly. Online shopping like any other modern technology can be both a boon and bane, regarding the way the beholder chooses to use it.
