I only heard of scams and spams from my friend in primary. That's when blogging first came into my world. I've never heard of blogging till primary six either. So scams were known as "confidence trick" in the past.

Scams are usually show some signs of greed and dishonesty. Scams can be dangerous as scamming nowadays can hurt people. There's a case where a company in Japan got an order from a new costumer and when the order was about to ship, a person saved the shipping as the credit card used wasn't his. So thanks to the person, the order was saved and the credit card holder hasn't found any money gone.
I've encoutered emails scams countless times myself so the best is to not fall for their trick as they'll tell you that you've won money and want your back account details and after recieving your bank details, they can access your back account and withdraw all your money and even put a virus into your computer as a "thank-you gift".
So scams can put someone in danger if the scammer, the person scamming, doesn't know about the consequences.

Spams can come in emails, especially in the junk folder. Spams from emails can be known as "email spams". Email spams usually sent viruses too, which is very dangerous and can cause many troubles such as work unsaved when done, advertisements popping up out of nowhere, computer malfunctions, these things that usually don't happen. Spams can also be found on blogs in the chat boxes, spamming on blogs can be done by typing mean things about someone or just for "fun" and type vulgar language, disencouraging others from going to his or her blog.
I've never encountered spams yet but I know that spams are dangerous so the best is to get an anti-virus and scam your computer daily, weekly, or monthly.
